Implemented main mechanic


After having made the mechanics I encountered some problems with the GUI, as I said in the previous post, then I started thinking at the mechanics of the game. What I want is a game where the energy is the main mechanic, not only an health substitute, so the idea came me thanks to my brother an my best friend that helped me thinking at what to do. The idea that came up was that you gain energies faster if you are in the darkness, but there are enemies hidden in the darkness. This means that the player has to decide if wait or risk. Wait, risk what? The player is immortal or is him? But not his allies. In the game you will ALWAYS have some allies that follow you in (quite) every level. Talking of levels, stay tuned because I have great ideas for the first level. Wait and you will see.

Minor updates

  • added the first type of enemy
  • implemented the level editor (not accessible from the demos, but for me is easier to develop)
  • added an original mouse pointer drawn by me (I thought it would have made the game cooler, but my drawing skills are really bad)
